I’m… sad.
I have allowed myself one complaint. One single post the nobody will likely ever see.
I cannot recall the last time a friend texted me. It sounds petty but it says a whole lot. These people don’t even have to walk toward me or do anything but move their thumbs. And yet despite this incredible convenience on their part, I am left quite ignored.
I am talked to only when I initiate conversation, and have realized I have few friends left that truly give a shit about me. I am not invited out anywhere, despite promises from many parties, I am included, yet promptly forgotten.
You could suggest maybe this isolation has offered some benefit to my life, that I may take out my loneliness in the form of improved grades and study habits, but alas this is not true.
Maybe I should be more assertive in forming friendships and maintaining them, I try, but it’s hard to do when you systematically fuck everything up and either come off timid or as a foul mouthed barbarian.
I might be able to overlook this whole friend thing if I had a girlfriend, but thats even less likely than a swarm of friends appearing a my doorstep. I have burned every bridge with girls, good looking girls that wouldn’t put up with my geeky habits are aware of them, and the girls that would are not good looking. Those that would put up with them and are good looking are one of two things, not attracted to me or batshit psycho.
Fuck me and my petty first world problems.
